Bahare Yaghar

MOMA International / Design Manager

Born and raised in Tehran, Bahare has been hugely influenced by the contrast of modern arts and traditional architecture. Living in Dubai for the last 12 years, Bahare has been working with the PDI energetic and creative hospitality team as a senior interior architect.

She is specialized in a wide range of projects with experience in new construction and renovation. Having worked with well-known hotel and hospital operators such as Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Avani, Chedi, and King’s College, Bahare has developed a strong skill set in modern and traditional fabrications. In some of her recent works, Jubail Island Nad Al Dhabi & Town Center Apartments, RAK Marriott 5* Resort Hotel, and Avani Barbarons Hotel Seychelles, she successfully managed the design between the client, consultants, and the production teams, culminating in high-quality projects as the Lead Interior Designer.

Her designs are influenced by minimalism, vernacular architecture, and a familiar tradition linked to craftsmanship to embrace the essence of the heritage and culture of the region. In her works, she celebrates ways of expressing material honesty, spatial order, and geometric proportion. She believes in the poetic richness of spaces to evoke emotions through the intelligent use of lighting, finishes, and forms. As a LEED-certified designer, she has a quest for innovative ways to explore and challenge design solutions meeting environmentally friendly criteria.
