Leah Xandora is an independent architectural lighting designer based in New York City. Currently a Senior Lighting Designer with L’Observatoire International, she loves problem solving, refining form and pairing functionality with hidden detail, “within lighting I seek to create something both conceptually strong and technically balanced”.
Her experience in the US and internationally stretches across hospitality, public realm, private residence, exterior and galleries. Previous to L’Observatoire International Leah was Lead Lighting Designer at Cinimod Studio, London, where she worked on a wide range of award winning projects with the studio; enjoying the mix of lighting, art and installation design and the unusual challenges each new project brought.
