Orlando Marques

OMstudio Lighting / Founder and Director

Orlando Marques is an architect and architectural lighting designer, graduated from the KTH – Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been working with architectural lighting since 2002 on projects across numerous countries including Brazil, the Middle East, India, South Africa, and the USA.

Orlando is the director and founder of OMstudio Lighting, an independent practice specializing in high-end lighting projects across numerous typologies and profiles. He is also a guest lecturer in the Architectural Lighting, Design Master’s program, at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is the former Editor-in-Chief of the L+D lighting magazine and curator of LEDforum lighting congress.

Orlando is an Associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers – IALD and the Brazilian Association of Lighting Architects – AsBAI.
