Entry Description

Zion Sky Lounge & Dining is a unique project in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam initiating a Post Apocalyptic style with lighting acting as the essential factor to highlight the architecture and interior.

To have the expected lighting effects as designed, we worked closely with the interior designer from the very first stage of the project to understand the concept, client's expectation, and also to give the appropriate composition for an integrated lighting system. We have combined architectural lighting and artistic lighting together with creating a distinctive highlight from our own bespoke designed Dystopian-style chandelier.

First, we designed the architectural lighting to ensure that the architectural features are accentuated as well as for safety purpose. Next, we used projectors for water caustic effects and color-changing luminaires to create a magical immersive space, this application is also convenient to easily modify the atmosphere by changing the light colors.

The focus is on the Dystopian chandelier which is fused with halogen and RGB technology, integrated with the entire lighting system to create a feeling of consistency but no less outstanding.
