Entry Description

Working closely with ARM Architecture and TCL, FPOV’s lighting scheme redefines and enhances the main entrance and forecourt of Australia’s leading museum. The lighting scheme celebrates the distinctive existing architecture (including the iconic ‘loop’ walkway), whist providing compliance lighting in a clever and considered manner. The sculptural native Australian planting is accented to create depth, softness, and texture within the landscaping. FPOV designed a custom bollard to provide circulation lighting to the pathways with a dedicated uplight to light the canopy, reducing the need for additional overhead lighting and minimizing upward light spill.
