Project Location Oberaudorf, Germany
Entry DescriptionThe single-family house in Oberaudorf was developed with a sustainable energy concept. The colours, shapes and outlines of the interior concept derive from the impression of the sun striking the mountains. The cool colours of the various shades of grey, combined with the warm orange accents, create the perfect interplay of noble and sublime and warm and cosy.
The lighting solutions were selected for their ability to integrate seamlessly into the architecture. The main focus lied on linear recessed luminaires, which illuminate the entire living space, but were also used for the home cinema. The light strips provide general lighting on the upper floor and emphasise the architectural structure of the building. Additionally they also allow their lighting effects to work within unexpected spaces, such as in the alcove which is integrated within the hallway cloakroom or along the staircase railings.
All lighting products are equipped with DALI and a KNX control system.
Within the outdoor area, the light strips take up on the light lines running inside, while spotlights on the corners of the building also illuminate the green area of the garden.
