Entry Description

The renovation of T-Mobile’s corporate headquarters reimagines the company’s workspaces and amenities and creates new bridges between buildings to establish a more connected campus.

Lighting supports the interior design by highlighting materials, textures, and vertical surfaces to provide visual interest. Lighting also plays a key role in integration of the company brand, incorporating T-Mobile’s signature magenta throughout. The lighting design team worked in close collaboration with the architecture and interior design teams to provide illuminated “magenta moments” – sometimes through the interaction with materials, sometimes through a direct light source view, and other times with indirect illumination.

Lighting also facilitates wayfinding across multiple buildings and sky bridges with unique lighting strategies in each building’s elevator lobbies, along with playful floating globe lamps at key navigation transition points.

The branded accents interweave seamlessly with the overall design— one where lighting supports work, collaboration, and wayfinding – integrated into a headquarters that promotes innovation and growth.
