Entry Description

Edifício Riverview, a building located in the financial center in Brooklin, in São Paulo, Brazil, belongs today to the global real estate investment, firm Hines.
Designed by the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, it was inaugurated in 2002 to accommodate the BankBoston headquarters.
The building is considered an architectural landmark in the city, with a bold façade made of granite, curved glass and stainless steel.
Intending to update the building to the 21st century, Hines invested in a retrofit project encompassing the entire complex.
Considered by many an oasis within the city, the garden, with its consolidated vegetation and leafy greenery, is one of the great highlights of the lighting project.
On the ground floor, a new ceiling lining was designed through a hanging parabolic metal mesh set just below the original lining, seemingly floating on air. This element offers a contemporary feel to the space and it is highlighted by a uniform indirect LED lighting installed on the mesh.
The elevator hall met a unique identity through the zenitzenith elements of backlit tension canvas.
The lighting design followed the premises for obtaining the LEED Gold certification.
