This studio is located in a mixed-use historic neighborhood.

At the core, a double height interior space with four windows facing east, the remodel entailed removal of layers of previous living over time, and rehabilitation of precious elements.
The goal was to conserve the historic authenticity and structural integrity without falsification and to transform the previous residential adobe structure into an environment with state of the art systems (Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical fit-out) suitable for use as our new design studio.

The new introduced lighting is of highest quality, inherently functional, strong in expression, minimal in aesthetic. Dimmable LED task lighting is placed at work desk. Floor standing indirect up-light celebrates the double-height space. A playful neon sign, references our studio logo, welcomes those who enter. A triangle of light emits primary colors. Custom light fixtures are displayed in the conference room. 3M frosted film ensures privacy while filtering the intense desert light and glare, while filling our space with diffuse daylight.
