Entry Description

1.Context & History
Estate from 1818, main house in rammed earth and adobe. Surrounded by historic coffee processing structures and imperial palms framing the social area.
Gardens designed by Roberto Burle Marx.

2 Challenge
Monumental sculptures(3–12m high) scattered across varied terrain.
Distances range from 10m to over 2km between artworks.
Need for clear legibility at multiple scales, minimal light pollution, and seamless integration of light, art, architecture and nature.

3 Lighting Concept
Each sculpture highlighted according to form, material, and color.
Light harmonizes with vegetation, topography and water reflections.
Emission controlled with anti-glare accessories.

4 Sculptural Solutions
Tubo: aluminum cylinder 2.5x7m; Linear LED 2700K 4W/m; balizers 3W 2700K; 10–30W projectors for trees and reflections.
Costela: Corten steel arches 2.8x2.9m; uplights 3w 40º 10W 140º for background.
Cabeça de Balão: 12x6m five pairs of 6W 10º 2700K with 30cm extenders; base lit by 10W 140º
Pirâmide: 4x2.5m chromed steel; optical projectors with filters to prevent glare.
Estrutura: two Corten pieces 11x7m; internal 15W 40º, external 9W 10º.
Agulhas: three steel pieces; Neon LED 2700K 10W/m in C profiles; reflected on grass and metallic bases.
Mesa: reclaimed logs 7m; three 9W 10º spots; 30cm tube extenders to control glare.
