Entry DescriptionZephyr is a professional COB camera light designed for film and television industry. With a highest brightness of 80000 lux at 3 meters, Zephyr can produce a even and bright light flood.
Forms Ideation
Zephyr is designed in a high-tech and industrial style, we got inspirations from aerospace and Industrial Processes. Keyway and other features not only highlight the style, but also improve heat dissipation and drainage effect.
The name Zephyr means a soft gentle wind, we think it represents the feature of COB light. Also, the character Z forms an icon of the handle and cutting corner.
User-friendly Interaction
Comparing with other camera lights, Zephyr creatively uses a knob to control light effects such as brightness and temperature. Users can grab the holding area behind the panel, then adjust the knob in a natural and comfortable operation gesture. The holding area also prevents tilting caused by one-way force.
Zephyr provides users with universal attachment mount, brackets and reflectors can be mounted easily. We also designed a sturdy case for carrying the light. The wheel is designed in an extra large size to adapt to the complex conditions of outdoor shooting.
Durability
Using solid magnesium alloy casing, Zephyr is robust in all conditions. With keyways on the shell and precise internal packaging, Zephyr allows a water-proof level of IP66. It provides st
Sustainability ApproachThe casing of Zephyr is made of magnesium alloy.
In terms of energy consumption and carbon emissions, magnesium has a lower melting point than aluminum, reducing energy use during smelting. During use, magnesium alloys' lighter weight cuts product energy consumption and related carbon emissions. For example, in electronic devices, lighter magnesium alloy - cased devices consume less energy during use and transportation.
Magnesium alloys are also highly recyclable, with simple and energy-efficient recycling processes that reduce resource waste and environmental pollution, lessening reliance on primary ores. Their good thermal conductivity also helps dissipate heat from the product, improving electronic component stability and lifespan, which reduces resource waste and environmental impact from product replacement.
