Entry DescriptionIllium is a lamp designed to transform the study and work experience, using light not just as illumination but as a tool to foster focus, concentration, and time awareness.
With a minimalist and functional design, Illium supports users during study sessions or tasks that demand sustained attention. Its key innovation is the use of light as a subtle indicator of time passing: instead of alarms or physical timers, Illium uses soft shifts in brightness and color—especially at the start, end, and during breaks in a work or study session.
These gradual changes promote a more mindful relationship with time, helping users stay present without abrupt distractions. This fosters an atmosphere of deep concentration and enhances the overall quality of study or work.
Illium is more than a source of light—it’s a companion that helps structure time and support healthier, more efficient habits. By aligning with natural rhythms and promoting intentional focus, it creates a calm, engaging environment.
Sustainability ApproachIllium stands at the forefront of sustainable innovation by combining recycled ABS plastic with magnetic energy solutions. By using recycled ABS, Illium significantly reduces plastic waste and lowers its carbon footprint, turning discarded materials into durable, high-performance components. This not only cuts down on the environmental impact of manufacturing but also supports a circular economy where materials are continually reused. At the same time, Illium’s integration of magnetic energy—through systems like magnetic induction or kinetic energy harvesting—offers a clean, renewable alternative to traditional power sources. Together, these features make Illium not just a functional product, but a powerful statement in eco-conscious design—proving that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
