Entry Description

Spinalight is a desk lamp inspired by the delicate balance between life and death, merging organic and skeletal aesthetics into a futuristic design.
Its structure draws from the anatomy of a spine, created through 3D printing with translucent material that enhances its skeletal presence while allowing light to interact with the form. The transparency reveals the carefully assembled metal rods within – aluminum for strength and flexibility, combined with copper that carries electricity while adding elasticity to the structure.

The vertebrae-like body allows fluid, creature-like movement, while the skull-shaped head emits a soft, focused glow.
Combining biomimicry and sci-fi aesthetics, Spinalight challenges the boundary between organic and artificial, living and non-living. It merges life and death, mechanics and nature, into a functional yet sculptural lighting object.

It is not only a lamp, but also a statement piece that transforms everyday illumination into an imaginative experience.
