Entry Description

Breathing new life into the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London meant striking a delicate balance—honouring its rich heritage while embracing the new and innovative.

Reimagining the club’s iconic red pendant lights with cutting-edge LED technology called for a truly bespoke approach. Equally meticulous was the integration of discreet spotlights, gallery lighting, and custom-designed, cordless table lamps—all remotely controlled to enhance the atmosphere without stealing the show.
Sustainability Approach

Luminaires were specified and made from recycled and recyclable materials, chosen not only for their low embodied carbon but also for their ability to be repaired, reused, or repurposed at the end of their lifecycle. Where possible, existing fixtures have been retained or retrofitted to reduce waste and preserve character.

Energy efficiency is at the heart of the design. Advanced LED technology is used throughout, paired with intelligent control systems that respond dynamically to the requirements of the venue. This ensures optimal ambience while significantly reducing energy consumption.
