Entry DescriptionThe Ukrainian art installation The Point of Unity has become part of the world-renowned Burning Man 2025 festival.
The Point of Unity explores fundamental questions of presence and wholeness, reminding us that change in the world begins with each of us. The central idea lies in “rooting” the sky into the earth — creating the effect of the sky surrounding a person from above and below.
Key design elements include:
Optical technologies: a sophisticated system of reflections creates the illusion of infinite space, where the boundaries between sky and earth disappear.
Multisensory experience: visitors perceive the installation simultaneously through sight, sound, and touch, forming a profound, multidimensional experience.
Temporal adaptability: during the day, the installation reflects the sky in the sand, creating visual harmony with the surrounding landscape. At night, it transforms into a space of silence, awareness, and inner connection.
Sound environment: integrated sound waves complement the visual experience
The Point of Unity demonstrates that contemporary Ukrainian art is not only capable of meeting but also of competing at the highest international level.
