Entry Description"Mountains Within Waters: Recreating Nature"
The architecture adopts "horizontality and ridgelines" as its design language. Lighting employs restrained, precise techniques to accentuate structural aesthetics.
The roof is illuminated according to slope variations, creating a gradient effect that mimics the layered contours of natural mountains. At night, the building's grand, dignified silhouette emerges, interweaving with its reflection on the lake to form a three-dimensional lightscape—"mountains within water"—blending architecture with nature. This fusion cultivates a tranquil, Zen-like atmosphere, allowing visitors to experience nature's charm and the building's unique essence even after dark.
Diffused lighting along the building and floating bridge edges ensures safe nighttime walks while casting soft luminous bands onto the lake. Interplaying with reflections, rippling water creates dynamic scenes of "light dancing on water, shadows gliding with waves", deepening immersion in nature.
At the three "mountain ridge" entrances, light permeates from within outward, becoming visual focal points within the natural setting. Low-level, anti-glare bollard lights and silhouette lighting on the floating bridge create a comfortable, natural ambiance throughout the park, guiding visitors from urban bustle into nature’s serene embrace.
Sustainability ApproachPrecision Lighting Strategy employs a targeted approach adhering to the "less but better" principle, focusing fixtures only on key structural elements to ensure essential areas shine while leaving non-critical zones subtly dark.
For Dark Sky compliance, high-efficiency 45W LED floodlights with three narrow-beam angles (8°/15°/24°) are deployed. Mounting height and spacing follow precise photometric calculations and illuminance requirements to strictly eliminate stray light, over-illumination, and prevent any upward light spill onto trees.
Smart energy conservation is achieved through integrated intelligent controls implementing timed on-off strategies (auto-off late night to dawn), effectively reducing light pollution and energy consumption.
