Entry DescriptionWe have designed a double-height space where vertical illuminance was conceived as a genuine layering of light articulated through different types of illumination. The first type is general lighting, where a thin luminous ceiling, nestled between the exposed beams, simulates uniform daylight, generating a warm, and welcoming atmosphere. Immediately below, adjustable LED spotlights with optics that concentrate the visually compact light beams, featuring a high CRI, are positioned on a multi-phase track recessed into the ceiling beams to faithfully render the natural colours of the products.A comfortable ambient lighting and a product accent lighting merge in perfect harmony, embodying the brand's spirit of innovation while maintaining the connection to the artisanal tradition that defines it.Small luminous profiles with controlled optics have been integrated, underneath the shelves. These elements coexist with the architectural geometries, thus clearly articulating the visual hierarchies of the space and comfortably directing attention. The entire system was designed with controlled dimmable LED technology, ensuring artificial light complies with natural light, with the possibility of creating various lighting scenarios throughout the day within the showroom. In this way, the design is enhanced, and maximum results are guaranteed with minimum energy consumption.
Sustainability ApproachThis essential lighting is part of a comprehensive sustainability approach that reduces energy usage to the absolute minimum while complying with regulatory parameters, limits real-time consumption, and extends the operational life of the equipment. In line with the material balance concept — aiming to minimize the output of materials destined for disposal — ceiling maintenance is simplified. This is achieved via the magnetic anchoring system of the light panels to the metallic structure, allowing for rapid removal and quick replacement. Due to the magnetic fastening of the tiles, they can also be reused in different compositions. Finally, all other project lighting fixtures are designed for reuse, via interchangeable electrical and electronic parts, confirming how intelligent design concretely translates into energy savings and responsible resource management.
Company DescriptionEffetto Luce Srl has been doing lighting since 1985.
In more than 35 years of work with the best designers, artists, public and private clients all over the world, we have acquired levels of knowledge that are today more distinctive than ever in an increasingly crowded market with improvised consultants. A careful analysis of the needs and tastes of our interlocutors is the cornerstone of the subsequent phases of the work, so that each intervention generates functional, welcoming, high-level lighting, with ad hoc light settings coordinated by advanced home automation systems and controls.
