Entry Description

The FLARE is a pendant light inspired by the sun, creating poetic forms and delivering comforting lights when dining.
The light will adjust its brightness depending on what food audiences are eating in order to provide the most healthy and comfortable lighting quality when eating.

During eating entree and appetizer, FLARE will offer beight and nature light tone for best digest and eating mood, and when waiting and dessert time, FLARE will dim down and offering warm dark light for best relax mood.

To capture the beauty and flow of the sun flare, multiple test pieces have been made. By heating up acrylic and then cast onto the mold, it is possible to catch the dynamic flow of the sun flare into a solid light piece

The acrylic will be lighted up from its edge, offering a dramatic floating light effect inside the space.
