Entry Description

The Z introduces a new visual and modular language for recessed downlights, combining flexibility, precision, and minimalist aesthetic in a unified system.

Inspired by linear lighting systems, it offers interchangeable modules (including diffuse, direct, spot and wall washers). These modules can be used in both frame and no-frame versions. The no-frame option also supports grouping frames at predefined distances, making installation easier and allowing for more organized and customized layouts.

The Z has applications from low to high power 5W to 50W, beam angles of 15°, 24°, 36°, and 50° and color temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, and 4000K.

Its standout features is the excellent optical performance made possible by Cross Light - a technology that moves away the lens’s focal point, allowing the light beams to intersect internally. Consequently, the light source remains recessed without compromising efficiency or optical definition while also delivering a very low UGR.

The Z production is equally refined through an die cast process applied to both frames and modules, ensuring a high-end finish.

Sustainability Approach

Sustainability approach: the structure is made of aluminum, a circular material that is infinitely and 100% recyclable. The LED lighting used is efficient, long-lasting, and low-maintenance. Due to its extended lifespan, the replacement and disposal rates are lower, reducing the need to produce additional luminaires.
