Entry DescriptionThe Korum Applique is an innovative wall sconce that redefines contemporary lighting by merging artistry, sensory exploration, and personalization. Its fluid, minimal forms emit a soft, ambient glow, transforming spaces into serene, poetic environments. Designed to interact organically with its surroundings, Korum embodies sensual minimalism and a futuristic aesthetic, offering a sculptural yet calming presence.
Modularity is central to Korum’s versatility. The sconce can be installed as a single element, in double configurations, or as multi-colored compositions with adjustable light orientations. This flexibility allows users to create personalized lighting arrangements that reflect individual style and spatial needs.
The collection’s glossy and flip-paint finishes enhance its three-dimensionality, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and material. The name “Korum,” inspired by the word meaning shield, reflects its intent to diffuse gentle, protective light, nurturing emotional and psychological well-being.
With its sculptural forms, innovative finishes, and customizable design, Korum Applique transcends traditional lighting. It is both a functional fixture and a poetic furnishing element, elevating contemporary interiors and inviting users to reimagine their relationship with light, space, and technology.
Sustainability ApproachThe Korum Applique combines energy efficiency, circular design, and longevity. Its LED technology (10.5W / 1,500 lm / 220-240V) provides soft, diffuse light with minimal energy use, while the modular design allows for component refitting and recycling, reducing waste and carbon footprint. Made from aluminum, a material that is 100% recyclable, Korum is designed for durability and adaptability, fully supporting a circular economy approach. Certified CE and UKCA, with included power supply and Insulation Class I, it demonstrates how contemporary lighting can be both striking and environmentally responsible.
