Kurtain Line reimagines the linear luminaire combining the soft, sculptural form of the award-winning Kurtain acoustic pendant with the powerful and precise illumination of the Linea lighting system. Crafted from eco-friendly, biodegradable wool, Kurtain Line delivers exceptional acoustic performance and advanced lighting capabilities—making it a truly versatile and high-performing acoustic lighting solution for any space. It is specifically designed for open-plan workspaces, collaborative zones, hospitality venues, and other large-scale commercial interiors where acoustic management and layered lighting schemes are essential for creating productive and comfortable environments.

Available in multiple lengths and a rich palette of 77 wool colors, Kurtain Line offers exceptional noise absorption and design flexibility. This high-performing fixture features class-leading dimmable LED light sources with options for direct and/or indirect wash, multiple shielding configurations, and an ultra-low UGR <5 on direct louvered output for optimal visual comfort. Additional features include IES and LDT photometric files for lighting analysis, as well as height-adjustable 9' / 2740mm suspension, and black woven power cables for a clean, refined installation.

Sustainability Approach

Kurtain Line is a sustainable acoustic lighting solution featuring a shade crafted from 100% Camira Blazer wool. This wool is organic, fully compostable, a LEED Credit Contributor, Indoor Advantage™ 'Gold' certified, EU Ecolabel certified, GIGA rated, biodegradable, and free from PFAS, Prop 65, and AB 2998. The wool’s Environmental Product Declaration underscores its rapid renewability, non-metallic dyestuffs, and green credentials. Kurtain Line is one of the few lighting fixtures in the industry that can boast a completely compostable shade combined with such high environmental sustainability. Additionally, the fixture features a dimmable edge-lit LED with an efficient 50,000-hour lifespan, setting a new standard in sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and acoustically superior design.
