Entry Description

DS is a dark sky friendly luminaire which blends environmental responsibility with high-performance design. Its versatile nature allows for a broad selection of accessories and mounting systems, ensuring suitability across diverse terrains and typologies.

Emerged from a lighting improvement project, DS was conceived to address a challenge shared by dark sky advocates worldwide: the lack of affordable, sustainable, and durable outdoor lighting alternatives which are aligned with dark sky principles and industrial quality standards.

Sustainability Approach

Most domestic exterior lights sourced from online or local retailers often fail to meet the basic performance requirements, leading to unnecessary material, electrical, and financial waste.

In contrast, DS is engineered to grant longevity, versatility and adaptability for all domestic and professional applications.

By marrying sustainability with technical precision, DS provides a responsible alternative which enables outdoor illumination without compromising the night sky.

As part of its strong commitment to environmental protection, the product offers a range of glare accessories, keeps the outward tilt angle to a max of 25 degrees and colour temperature range below 2700K.

With a TM66 circularity score of 3.0, DS is mainly constructed of die-cast aluminium with recycled and locally sourced materials, and with components which can be fully disassembled for future maintenance.
