Entry DescriptionLa Luce is an Italian restaurant located on the shore of Duck Lake in Lviv.
The central interior feature is a large interactive light fixture above the bar that mimics the sun. Its inner part radiates the warmth of sunlight, while the outer layer reflects the colors of the sky. Throughout the day, the fixture dynamically shifts its palette — from the soft glow of morning to the vivid hues of sunset, and finally to the gentle warmth of evening. Pendant lights in the dining area are synchronized with it, supporting the overall lighting rhythm.
The wine display resembles an art installation. The lighting is selected to avoid harming the wine. Some bottles are placed on a textured rock surface, where light directed from above and below enhances the relief, adding depth and texture. Automation allows the lighting to be turned on only when needed.
The facade is illuminated with two types of lighting: contour lighting for the window frames and volumetric lighting for the building itself. The lighting highlights the sides visible from Naukova Street and the lateral facades, while leaving the terrace unlit to preserve its cozy evening ambiance. The 3000K facade lighting contrasts with the interior, inviting guests in, and is coordinated with nearby buildings to maintain harmony in the urban environment.
