Entry Description

This light fixture is a bespoke piece Bluarch designed for a private dining room at Spring Place, a members-only club in Tribeca [New York City] comprised of hospitality venues [a restaurant, lounges, private dining rooms, a bar] and co-working spaces.

The main design goal was to pursue a pure, distinctive form with deliberate primitive gestures. Two geometries [one supporting, the other being supported] meet at one point of contact and exist in perfect balance.
The fixture hovers a 22-seat bespoke ebony table. As such, the light connects all the guests at the long table by creating a lower lighting surface, thereby creating a warmer environment of the appropriate scale.

The material is antiqued brass, while the luminaire is LED [in panels, with DMX controllers, fully dimmable, 8-watt/module ]. The white lens is thermo-stretched PVC sheet.
