Entry DescriptionThe hotel implements a dynamic, rhythmic lighting strategy, The journey begins at the reception, where a captivating backlit wall features a 'breath' animation, creating a serene and immersive interior. The design’s rhythmic nature extends to the grand social stair, where a massive decorative light installation serves as a central art piece, augmented by downlights for safe passage. In the ballroom, custom-shaped acrylic decorative lights with RGBW capabilities provide unparalleled flexibility to transform the space for any event. The lobby lounge, with its grand decorative chandelier, defines zones for social interaction through a masterful layering of light. In contrast, the pool area features integrated linear lights and uplighting for a serene, spa-like ambiance. The fitness center's ceiling features a dynamic, intersecting network of linear lights creating a sense of energy and movement, perfectly suited for the invigorating space. From the hotel's grand public spaces to its functional leisure areas, the lighting design consistently balances technical prowess with artistic vision. A cohesive visual language is reinforced throughout the hotel with linear treatments along furniture, display shelves, and walls. This intricate line work, complemented by glare-free downlights, thoughtfully layers various light sources to enhance material tactility and guide the user experience.
Sustainability ApproachPrioritizing occupant well-being, this project's design successfully navigates stringent Lighting Power Density (LPD) requirements, ensuring exceptional energy efficiency without compromising its creative vision. The strategic integration of smart building technologies, including dimming protocols for various scene settings, allows for optimized energy consumption. This was a particularly significant achievement given the extraordinary challenges during its COVID-19 pandemic-era inception and construction, a testament to the team's dedication and the project's successful realization.
