Entry DescriptionThis hotel is located in Dayan, an old town in Lijiang and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The design represents the Naxi culture while preserving its heritage. The resort was rebuilt from the home of the Qing Dynasty literati, Wang Zhuqi and retains the original Naxi architectural features.
The lighting concept aims to create a subtle yet ambient glow, fostering a quiet architectural atmosphere that guides guests into a mysterious and anticipated space. It also reimagines the traditional way of entry, allowing guests to "travel" from one space to another, like a secret path to paradise. The extensive use of 2700K warm color temperature indirect lighting blends with and highlights the natural richness of wood textures, enabling guests to experience the uniqueness of local culture through an appreciation of local craftsmen’s artworks.
