Entry DescriptionThe lighting design celebrates the sensory theatre of yakiniku, where the glow of live cooking becomes the visual centrepiece. Using 2700K warm white with CRI97, every marbled detail of premium meat is rendered with true-to-life richness, enhancing appetite and visual allure. Over each grill, focused accent lighting creates a luminous stage, while surrounding areas are kept in subdued, layered light to heighten contrast and intimacy.
A combination of recessed downlights and narrow-beam pendants defines each table, paired with low-level indirect lighting along walls, partitions, and architectural textures to sculpt depth. Backlit feature elements—such as the cattle emblem and stone panels—add drama without overpowering the dining focal point.
The result is a cinematic dining atmosphere: warm, intimate, and immersive, where the interplay of light and shadow draws guests into the experience, making every moment—from the sizzle to the final bite-visually unforgettable.
Sustainability ApproachThe design employs high-efficiency 2700K / CRI97 LEDs with targeted beam control to reduce energy use by up to 65% while preserving exceptional color rendering. Layered, zoned dimming minimises over-illumination, lowering operational load. In real operation, we managed to reduce 85% of the electrical load. Fixtures are modular and serviceable for extended life, with recyclable aluminium and glass components. This approach reduces waste and carbon footprint while delivering a dramatic, high-contrast dining experience.
