Entry DescriptionThe stage design incorporated extensive video surfaces, so the primary goal was to enhance and define the visual structure of the stage's core elements, while also ensuring the flexibility to create 21 entirely distinct visual identities for each performance.
As one of the largest televised music events in Estonia, audience lighting played a crucial role, equally important to the dynamic flashing and moving lights on stage. To achieve this, we utilized nearly 50 LED wash fixtures to illuminate the crowd, ensuring seamless integration between the stage and the audience. Additionally, we incorporated the CrowdLED wristband system, allowing for segmented control of audience wristbands. This provided the flexibility to create fully immersive dark moments, while still maintaining a subtle visual definition of the audience presence within the arena, enhancing both the live atmosphere and the broadcast experience.
After an intense rehearsal schedule in the arena, the client was extremely pleased with the final result. They felt the scale and execution of the technical production was truly world-class and perfectly delivered the modern, cutting-edge feel they had envisioned for the show.
Sustainability ApproachIn today’s entertainment industry, sustainability is more important than ever, which is why the lighting design relied primarily on energy-efficient LED fixtures. Careful consideration was given to selecting multi-purpose fixtures capable of delivering a wide range of effects, minimizing the overall equipment needs, reducing transportation costs, and lowering overall power consumption.
Additionally, the event’s technical provider, RGB Baltic, is located in close proximity to Unibet Arena, which significantly reduced the environmental footprint associated with transportation and logistics.
