Entry DescriptionA work of mosaic art that renders the concept of the phrase "Light descending from above and illuminating from within." This is a concept deeply rooted in Christian theological and philosophical discourse, where light symbolizes divine grace and spiritual enlightenment.
The phrase indicates that this light is "from above," meaning it originates from heaven or the divine realm, and at the same time "illuminates from within," lighting up and transforming the believer internally.
This specific approach to lighting design has one main goal: the illuminated creation does not immediately reveal the secrets of its technique, but only when the visitor approaches it.
Sustainability ApproachLighting design of this project embraces a comprehensive sustainability approach. The selected luminaires are based on the commitment to the circular economy, a philosophy that keeps materials and components in use for as long as possible since are built for longevity and reparability, which minimizes waste and the need for frequent replacements. Their modular design enables future upgrades and easy maintenance, significantly extending the product’s lifecycle. This approach not only ensures a lower total cost of ownership but also drastically reduces the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing and transportation. Furthermore, the lighting solution is highly energy-efficient, reducing power consumption and operational costs. This focus on durable, repairable, and efficient products exemplifies a modern, sustainable approach to outdoor lighting art.
