Entry DescriptionEmerge is an innovative wall light designed to transform how we experience and interact within our home environment. By integrating tactile pulleys with bamboo panels, Emerge enables users to shape and manipulate warm light, creating a dynamic and personalized ambiance. This interactive lighting solution not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also fosters mindful engagement and deeper connections among those bathed in its glow. As Juhani Pallasmaa observes, “bright homogeneous light blinds imagination and connection.” Emerge’s warm, dimmed lighting encourages users to let go, explore their imagination, reflect, and connect with others. When people form a strong emotional connection with a product, they're more likely to repair, upgrade, or repurpose it rather than discard it. In some cases, this attachment can even lead users to keep the object beyond its original function, demonstrating a commitment to its continued use.
Emerge’s approach prioritizes this emotional relationship by resonating with users on a deeper level. It not only stands out with its strong, distinct lines that immediately capture attention, but it also communicate
