Entry Description

The creation process of our lamp starts by cutting the fabric into long strips and stretching it to form a "thread," while the decorator makes the structure. Then, the threads are knotted onto the structure, which is assembled with the light bulb. The costs in this part of the process are: decorator (100,000) and light bulb with cable (25,000). For distribution and commercialization, we will use channels such as Instagram and a website with a B2C focus. In this case, the expenses would include: the website domain (between 39,000 and 69,000 per year) and Instagram advertising. A B2B model is also planned through furniture stores like Folies and fairs like VASSAR. For this model, the costs would be the rent and/or commissions related to the spaces. Additionally, there are other costs such as packaging and product transportation. Our profits will be obtained through the sale of the lamps.
Sustainability Approach

By creating lamps using recycled fabrics, the need to produce new textile materials is avoided, thus reducing the demand for virgin resources. Additionally, the lamps are designed so that components such as LED engines and drivers can be replaced, keeping the main structure intact and extending their lifespan. In this way, the extraction of new raw materials is minimized, contributing to the conservation of the planet's natural resources and promoting more sustainable production and consumption.
