Entry DescriptionThe design of “Light of the city” draws inspiration from the nightscape of Chongqing China, with the design team successfully capturing the balance of power and subtlety found in the city’s lights. Inspired by the city lights at night, the advanced headlights featuring 4 layers of LED light beautifully connected to the skyline. The horizontally expanded light strips are like a flying wing, which open high in the atmosphere, combining the prosperity of the city with the dynamic of the car. The taillights sources of varying heights create a seamless visual flow. "V" logo illuminates the intersection of two rivers , creating a unique landscape painting, which is modern, elegant and full of rhythm.
It has larger luminous area ,larger viewing angle of the signal lights and intelligent, high-brightness lighting lamp.In terms of signal lamp design, DRL’s luminious area is up to 900cm².The PLs’ luminious width are more than 1660mm and Visibility angle are up to 180-degree. In terms of lighting In the high-beam mode, at 50 meters in front of the car, the illumination (5lx) width on the left and right sides can reach 16 meters.
The lamp is equipped with 6 kinds of welcome and farewell lighting animations, strengthen the emotional interaction with users.
The existing production line can support high volume production, with approximately 21,000 sets per month.
Sustainability ApproachThe "Light of the city" has good sustainability attributes.
1.Lamp use full LED and an innovative cooling system, which reduces energy consumption by 18% compared to the previous generation, minimizing energy waste while maintaining brightness performance.
2.Lamps’ weight has been reduced from 14.2kg to 11kg compared to the previous generation. Products reduce energy waste through lightweight design.
3.In the selection of materials, priority is given to recyclable, environmentally friendly materials certified by IEC 62321 to reduce the environment pollution.
4. Lamps’ control module has a software flashing port. The animation effect of lights can be updated through this port without changing the hardware in the future. This design enables sustainable development.
5. Lamp have service life more than 100,000 hours.
