Entry Description

Refers to a traditional Japanese woodworking technique in which various pieces of wood are combined to create complex geometric patterns. This technique is often used in the making of boxes and cases, resulting in intricate and visually appealing designs. The term “yosegi” can be roughly translated as “applied wood” or “assembled wood.”
Celebrate traditional Japanese art with our luminaire, which integrates the beauty and precision of Yosegi and Tangram craftsmanship into modern lighting. Its unique geometric patterns allow for the expression of creativity and dynamism through light. Ideal for those seeking a piece that combines art and functionality, making it a standout in any environment.
Made of aluminum with a microtextured paint finish, the luminaire is available in all the colors of our palette. It offers a dimmable option and comes in four shapes: triangular, circular, rectangular, and square. It can be installed either as a surface-mounted or pendant fixture, making it versatile for standalone use or compositions. It features prismatic optics, providing lightness, visual comfort, and robustness, with direct distribution, low UGR, and an integrated 24V driver.
Sustainability Approach

Yosegi embodies a commitment to sustainability, even though it is not made from recycled materials. The luminaire structure is primarily composed of aluminum, a material known for its durability and recyclability. By using a limited variety of materials, the design minimizes complexity, making it easier to disassemble at the end of its life cycle. This straightforward dismantling process ensures that the components can be efficiently separated and sent for recycling. Furthermore, the lamp is designed with a focus on reverse logistics, enabling the product to be returned and responsibly processed, further reducing its environmental impact.
