Tessel is an innovative linear luminaire combining sound-absorbing acoustics with glare-free, energy-efficient lighting. It reduces noise in open-plan offices, enhancing productivity and wellbeing.
Tessel, short for tessellation, is a modular luminaire suitable for multiple indoor applications. Available in straight & 120-degree angular profiles & four lengths, it allows architects to make multiple formations & create unique spaces. Its sleek geometric design with vibrant hues complements informal spaces.
Tested at the ARAI, Tessel’s multi-layer construction of felt panels and soft polyester material reduces average reverberation time (RT60) by 45%. This sound-absorbing construction is patent-pending.
The luminaire emits high-quality uniform light, diffused by a deep-inset micro prismatic diffuser, ideal for focused work. It offers ample (2000lm) and glare-free (UGR <19 for prismatic; UGR <10 for collimator) illumination. The efficient LED luminaire is also available with a Collimator lens and multiple photometry options.
Tessel offers customization options, including panel colors, sizes, custom v-groove patterns, & high-resolution image printing on PET panels. It also provides various color temperature choices and Smart & Connected features like Bluetooth, PoE, and Wi-Fi. Tessel’s color tunability can sync with the user’s circadian rhythm, enhancing sleep, mood, and wellbeing.

Sustainability Approach

Tessel demonstrates sustainability by incorporating 100% recycled PET felt panels and soft polyester material. The luminaire used in Tessel is 90% recyclable, reducing environmental impact. This combination of longevity, energy efficiency, advanced features, and recyclability makes it ideal for applications in commercial settings.
The LED lighting technology used in Tessel comes with a long lifespan of 50,000 burning hours and offers 50% energy savings compared to traditional lighting solutions.
