Borrowed from Nature presents the B-Module Dapple and Ripple, an innovative LED module series inspired by the interplay of light and shadow in natural environments. The Dapple design replicates the gentle, filtered light found beneath tree canopies, while the Ripple module evokes the subtle, shifting patterns of light on water surfaces. Initially developed for a rainforest eco-resort, the B-Module offers an immersive and eco-sensitive lighting experience that minimises disruption to local flora and fauna. Using multi-chip LED sources with bespoke refractive optics, the modules create an organic effect with varying light intensities. With four beam angles — 20°, 35°, 55° and 60° — it adapts to both indoor and outdoor settings, providing dynamic yet sustainable illumination. The standalone, plug-and-play system features Near Field Communication (NFC) for seamless light transitions and is compatible with DALI systems for advanced control. This modular concept reflects an ethos of ecological harmony, promoting awareness of nature's rhythms through light.
