Entry Description

Sugar High 2.0 World Tour marks a significant upgrade from Cyndi Wang’s previous tour, held at Taipei Arena on October 12 and 13, 2024. Continuing the "Candyland" theme, the concert took the visual effects to a new level. The stage design centered around a "winged castle," with rotating light columns and a giant LED screen creating a dreamlike candy-filled world.
A standout feature was the "360-degree panoramic sky screen," where lighting and projection technology transformed the stage into an immersive fantasy realm. Whether through the massive LED screens or the intricate beam designs, the fluidity and precision of the lighting ensured each song had its unique visual atmosphere. The transitions between ballads and upbeat songs were particularly striking, with the lighting quickly shifting to enhance the emotion of each performance. Lighting wasn't just a supporting element but a crucial part of the stage art, with every detail leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Sustainability Approach

The designers placed significant emphasis on environmental sustainability and resource reuse for the concert. A large portion of the lighting equipment consisted of energy-efficient LED lights, with 600 out of the 800 lights being low-energy LED fixtures. This not only saved energy but also significantly reduced carbon dioxide emissions. Additionally, certain stage mechanisms and lighting equipment were designed to be portable and reusable across multiple tour locations, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to energy conservation and resource recycling. The design reflects a strong commitment to reducing the environmental footprint while maintaining high production standards.
