Entry DescriptionThe design is intended to create a unique digital entertainment intelligent experience space for ZENE, which is different from the conventional standardized display space to reflect its technological brand attributes as well as the concept of natural and comfortable life. To achieve this goal, architectural design thinking is used to explore the relationship of light and space.
To introduce natural light into the space during the lighting design phase, we deconstructed the building, calculated the sunlight pattern based on the exact location of the site, and used artificial lighting to simulate natural lighting situations. Through the techniques of "leakage" and "transmission", light relates to nature.
The "skylight" in the atrium visually connects the inside and outside. The intelligent system adjusts the light according to the external situation, allowing the artificial light changes over time, giving the building vitality, and achieving a harmonious unity between the interior and exterior.
The clear cement space brings vitality and natural light and shadow through carefully designed light. At the same time, ultra-low colour temperature like flame is used to inject the pulse of life into the space, creating a mysterious and warm atmosphere.
Sustainability ApproachThe combination of natural light and artificial light, the collision of low colour temperature and high colour temperature, creates a unique space experience. The intelligent system adjusts the light according to the external situation, allowing the artificial light changes over time, giving the building vitality, and achieving a harmonious unity between the interior and exterior.
The "transmission" technique is that soft light penetrates the medium, forming a gradient light and dark effect and increasing the architectural structure. The lamps hidden in the structure cooperate with the intelligent system to adjust the lighting intensity and simulate the real sunlight effect.
