Entry Description

The lighting concept revolves around three key ideas: Immersion, Dissolution, and Concentration. Light serves as a guide, helping individuals immerse themselves in their yoga practice. It dissolves unnecessary visual distractions, creating space for heightened sensory awareness and promoting deeper focus on the self and personal sensations.
This effect is achieved through light boxes on the end walls of the room, powered by RGBW LED strips (2700). These are controlled horizontally using DMX512, allowing smooth gradients and various dynamic lighting scenarios.
Since the room reaches temperatures up to 40°C during practice, the control panel was moved outside, and a cooling system was added to ensure proper functioning. Lighting is controlled via a panel in the room or remotely via tablet, enabling the instructor to adjust color and brightness in real-time.
Several preset lighting scenarios are also available. Morning and evening settings are based on biodynamic lighting research. In the morning, cooler tones and brighter light energize the practice. In the evening, warm hues, lower illumination, and sunset scenes promote relaxation. Additionally, dynamic color scenarios, where hues change to match specific yoga poses, were developed in collaboration with lighting experts and instructors.
Sustainability Approach

The HOT YOGA 36 project utilizes high-quality LED strips rated at 14.4 W/m and a supply voltage of 24 V, ensuring a long service life without the need for component replacement. The power supplies are strategically located outside the hall and feature a cooling system to enhance stability.
In addition to the inherent energy efficiency of the LED strips, the advanced control system allows for dimming, enabling the lighting to operate at reduced power levels.
This project is designed not only to enhance the ambiance but also to promote the well-being and health of individuals, fostering a sustainable and healthy community.
