Entry DescriptionIn the heart of Arcadia, the "Mana Sanatorium," a 1929 building long abandoned, has been revived as the MANNA Hotel. Nestled among forests and a beautiful lake this retreat blends unique aesthetics with an array of wellness experiences year-round.
The MANNA Hotel's lighting design beautifully complements the natural surroundings, subtly highlighting the building's elegance. Warm, discreet lights softly illuminate the façade, enhancing its beauty without disrupting the serene landscape. Handcrafted appliques, inspired by nature, adorn the exterior, adding artistic flair. Seen from afar, the hotel’s lighting creates a photogenic, warm ambiance among the pine forest. As night falls, the lighting reveals the architectural details and textures, enhancing the building’s features while blending harmoniously with the surrounding greenery. Pathway lights guide guests with a soft, inviting glow, not only serving a functional purpose but also encouraging appreciation of the landscape.
For the interior lighting there were designed custom-made fixtures and bespoke chandeliers, inspired by the hotel's character, enhancing the welcoming ambiance, offering a soft, warm light that adapts to both day and night. This careful curation of light accentuates the elegant décor and creates a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel's public and private spaces.
Sustainability ApproachSustainability is at the forefront of the lighting design of MANNA Hotel, utilizing LED technology and smart lighting controls to manage light levels efficiently. Custom fixtures crafted from eco-friendly materials reflect the hotel's commitment to environmental responsibility. By maximizing natural light through large windows and skylights, the design fosters a seamless connection between the indoor spaces respecting the natural Arcadian surroundings.
