Entry DescriptionThe Beijing Workers' Stadium, built in 1959, is a tribute project to the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and one of the first batch of "Top Ten Buildings" in China. In history, as a national sports stadium, Workers' Stadium was not only a sports center, but also a witness to many major events. It not only carries the function of showcasing the achievements of socialist construction and inspiring the people of the whole country to work hard, but also showcases the vigorous and upward image of China to the world.The outdoor lighting design of Beijing Workers Stadium combines historical position, architectural characteristics, garden landscape and other factors, with the design concept of "telling the historical development of the city and leading the urban style".
Through the analysis of the surrounding environment and architectural scale, based on the urban perspective, it pays attention to the form expression of history and art, hoping to integrate more cultural characteristics and urban expressions.Landscape lighting connects the city, landscape, and people closely, creating and improving the urban public facilities system, and providing unlimited possibilities for nighttime activities.
Sustainability ApproachWith the goal of low carbon, low impact, high efficiency and high quality, this project presents us with a world-class professional football temple with high science and technology content and strong professional attributes. The canopy adhering to the principle of maximizing the opening area, combining lighting with 70%~90% high transmittance polycarbonate panels, allowing external lighting to be reflected into the interior of the venue through the shed, to achieve the hidden installation of lamps,to achieve green energy saving effect.
A photovoltaic power generation area is set up around the outer ring of the awning. The photovoltaic power generation system will provide part of the electricity for daily operation in areas, enabling the green development of the city.
