Entry DescriptionThe Xiamen Olympic Sports Center is a large-scale comprehensive sports facility, including Egret Stadium, Fenghuang Gymnasium, White Dolphins Natatorium, and a multi-functional training center. At the same time, it has a large area of outdoor landscapes and outdoor sports fields. There is also a yacht dock by the coast, with a wide field of vision and excellent scenery.
The lighting design is inspired by the flying posture of egrets. Multi-channel colored lamps and other devices are used to meet operational needs. The brightness setting presents a wing-spreading pattern. The connected platforms take into account both pedestrian flow evacuation and landscape. As a pioneer in the area, it also takes into account future construction and development. The design attempts to use wireless solar lamps, saving costs and facilitating maintenance, and meeting the needs of sustainable development. It adds new urban landscapes and colors to Xiamen, shows the style of the coastline, and resonates with the city.
