Entry Description

The concept of orbital rotation inspires the design of this wine boutique. The circular layout revolving around the central counter resembles a planetary system. The flow of circulation draws customers closer to the products, creating an immersive in space experience.

Light has both a unifying and a dividing effect in this space. It highlights the variety of materials and displays them in harmony within the space.
Structuring the space, light fixtures bring focus on the product and help clients understand the structure of the room easier: metal cages and grape-inspired leather pendants for product display, shelves for selection, counter for tasting.

The stretch ceiling bathes the entrance in a soft and welcoming glow, providing ample illumination to create the desired atmosphere with low energy consumption.
Illuminated shelves enhance the depth and perspective of the room, while LED pendant lights foster a feeling of security by providing enveloping lighting.

Smoothing lights create a relaxing atmosphere, favourable to wine tasting while allowing at the same time to appreciate its colour. Throughout the shop, the interplay of light accompanies the journey of the product, from its display on the shelves to customers' glasses, creating an immersive and memorable tasting experience.
Sustainability Approach

The design utilizes locally sourced materials, including wood and the world-famous Taiwanese marble stone.

Eco-friendly faux finishing was applied on the ironware pieces. It has been chosen for both its humidity absorbing feature and aesthetics. Besides, this paint also allows the surfaces to age naturally, adding an organic feel to the space, thus creating a wine boutique that feels both ethereal and alive.

The large ceiling-to-floor window at the entrance also introduces generous natural light, reducing the need for lighting inside and outside the store during daytime.
