Entry Description

“Fragmentando” is an artistic light intervention designed for nightclubs. This object is designed to constantly change shapes and colors. It takes as its starting point the shapes and reflections created by shattered mirrors. From this basis, it seeks a way to fit the broken pieces together, which is how it arrives at the “frog base” origami, modified to adapt to the environment and the gaze of the observers. Made primarily of mirrors and transparent acrylics, it lacks its own color as its objective is to reflect and adapt to the tones of its surrounding environment. Its lights are formed by neon tubes whose color can be controlled.
