Entry DescriptionStitch is a new sustainable approach to lighting for collaborative work environments. The vertical illumination of the diffusing surface promotes better rendering of faces rather than work planes. The recyclable and compact non-woven polypropylene shade transmits over 4300 lumens of light efficiently while providing a glare-free soft glow and relaxed aesthetic to fit contemporary Wellness oriented environments.
Sustainability ApproachStitch has been completely reimagined for sustainability, where the selection of materials and design focuses on reduced operational and embodied carbon. The large diffusing surface is designed to roll-up into a small format for transport and easy installation. The light engine is cleverly contained in a tiny, recycled aluminum housing, and is designed for even surface illumination from one source by using a thin holographic film. The low voltage and minimalist design reduce electronics and eliminates PVC.
Compared to traditional fixtures, Stitch reduces weight and volume by approximately 66%, and there is reduced packaging. All packaging is fully recycled, recyclable or compostable and polymer free except for compostable tape.
