Entry DescriptionWe worked on Phase I of the exclusive residential development located at the Ibiza's Westcoast.
Our scope included the concept lighting design thru specification of the architectural lighting of 3 typical Villas Infrastructure and the Club House. Each Villa differed by Architect: Rolf Blakstad, RomanoArquitectos and EstudioVila13.
Rolf Blakstad also designed the 1,485m2 Clubhouse- heart of the Sabina community. Organized on 2 levels, the main offers a restaurant, bars, breakout rooms, office space and a large pool flanked by outdoor seating. The lower has recreational zones, with a private dance/night club, smoking room, library, bowling, a spa+gym as well as an outdoor Amphitheatre and a Temple.
Tasked with illuminating the generous program textures and colors, we coordinated between the aesthetic preferences of each team while meeting base illumination requirements and programmatic needs.
Our goal: Ensure a soothing environment for visitor and guest to be able to relax, which we achieved thru ceiling surface mount downlights at exposed wood ceilings of restaurant and bar, and thru integrated lighting at ledges and seating that wash adjacent surfaces, planters and pools.
