Entry Description

In the USA, 90 percent of bus stops have no shelter, and some even lack signage to indicate where to stand. If you have ever been downtown running late to catch the bus and you can't seem to find that little sign indicating where the bus stops, only to watch as the bus passes you and stop down the road where you just were, close enough that you could have caught it if you had known, but too far away to do so now. We understand your pain. The TPS, also known as the Transit Pole System, is designed to create a safe waiting zone for transit passengers when no bus station is available. This system provides area lighting for the passengers who rely on the bus during the night and a signal light activated by the user that will alert the bus driver that passengers are waiting. The TPS is robustly manufactured and assembled using UV-resistant, shock-proof ABS and non-corrosive aluminum. This stylish and modern product hosts a balance between symmetrical and asymmetrical composition. Designed to stand up to all types of weather and function in the most demanding conditions while bringing new innovative features that improve the transit system.
