Entry DescriptionThe overall lighting design is based on the bestowed interior design concept, “Cloud,” that is expressed throughout the architectural forms in the North Lobby, Hotel Lobby, and Retail Link: wavy ceilings, translucent walls, etc. Brass-finished, metal bead draperies, in the Hotel Lobby, combine with wavy linear lighting, hidden in the mounting channels, and downlighting to create “Shimmering lighting on the Clouds.” Vertical linear cove lighting on the columns metaphors "Sunrays piercing throught the clouds". Minimal lighting design, using custom radius linear downlights and decorative luminaires, enhances the North lobby’s monolithic, wavy ceiling design. Linear lighting design, in the Retail Link, connects the lobbies and enhances the translucent wall panel materiality and wavy popup ceiling form.
