Entry DescriptionThe 2 lobbies of an existing building have undergone a makeover. The skyward-curving ceiling symbolise the client's ever upward ascent to the highest. The ceiling posed an interesting challenge for lighting design, as attention is given to graze the bamboo-inspired feature wall without being affected by the curvature of the ceiling. As the flooring is existing and also reflective, special attention for grazing to minimise the reflections, while trying to have as much a grazing as possible. Layering of light, such as portal lighting, to further enhance the wall and reflection.
