Entry DescriptionThe project located on the bank of Yangtze River,which is the most artistic community residence and shopping mall in Chongqing,China. Chongqing has ranked the most romantic nightscape in China,and the living room of the residence just beside big French window,it is also the space where family gathers together.The pendant size is 695cmx230cm, which installed in the living room of 7 meters height. The design strategy is follow the principle of Triple 3, which means It made of 3 different colors of glasses,3 different sizes of rectangular, and 54 pieces of spotlight with 3 types of beam angles. Each piece of glasses is framed by metal, connected one another closely and expanded into an artistic pendant. The pendant is like a piece of art which combine the functional and visional aspect. The technical perspective of the design is to make the free flow and enhance the various reflection of light, and the transmission of light through the glasses.The function of the pendant also integrates with the lifestyle of the resident,such as turn on the light by sections, which creates the elegant gradation of light.
