Entry DescriptionThe OS4 outdoor spotlight is based on the new »Elements« lighting platform from InstaLighting. OS4 is available in three different sizes and can therefore be used for a large number of areas of application. The aluminum housings, powder-coated in the color »DB703 iron mica«, can be equipped with elements light pixels, which allow a free combination of light colors and optics. Each double pixel can be controlled separately, which enables dynamic lighting scenarios for different times of the day, materials and occasions.
When designing the formal language of the luminaire, it was important to us to give the product a very reduced form: The luminaire bracket connects tangentially to the housing, giving it a calm appearance in any orientation.
In order to achieve protection class IP 67, we developed a new design for the cable entries. This allows cables to be inserted into the housing without visible screw connections. A pressure equalization membrane vent is also located at this point. This detail can be found in all lights of this series.
